Pelican Bay Community INFORMATION
Private Beach Access and Restaurants
Located in North Naples, and founded in 1974, this 2300 plus acre private beach access community, with fantastic amenities, including tennis courts, restaurants, and a 27 hole golf course (separate membership), is one of the most desirable communities in Naples. This community features all types of properties, including high end estate homes on the beach to high rise condominiums. Pelican Bay is also home to the Philharmonic Center for the Arts (now known as Artis), the Ritz Carlton, and the Waterside Shops.
The finest and most frequented amenity are the two beach access locations which open up to a pristine stretch of white sand that extends for almost three miles, bordering the community’s entire western boundary. Beach attendants keep the beaches well-maintained and are on hand to set up lounge chairs, cabanas and umbrellas. And, web cams provide residents with a view of beach conditions 24 hours a day so that they can check the weather before hitting the sand.
The South Beach location offers dining at the Sandbar seasonally and the year-round at the Sunset Café. The North Beach offers year-round, elegant beach dining at the elegant and state-of-the-art Marker 36 Restaurant.
In addition to beaches and dining, Pelican Bay is one of the most active tennis communities in Southwest Florida. Offering tennis leagues, round-robins, professional instruction or special events, there is something for everyone. The community’s two tennis complexes provide a total of 18 courts in total.
